RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist customers at our counter, building relationships with consistent customers
  • Operating a POS system, ringing in customer sales
  • Reconcile daily credit sales
  • Conduct accurate / secure store inventories
  • Resolve customer service situations at the counter.
  • Prepare items to be sent for processing
  • Maintain an immaculate store, front to back
  • Greet customers, answer phone, and keep store neat and clean.
  • Handle customer concerns and issues.
  • Separate incoming dry cleaning orders according to garment type. Point out items that need special care. Note any customer requests such as spot removal or repairs.
  • Create and calculate orders, collect and process payments.
  • Retrieve customer orders, checking for accuracy.
  • Wash, dry, and fold drop-off laundry orders as needed.
  • Opening and closing store, responsibilities such as balance cash register, sweep floors, dust, and wipe down machines and counters.
  • Able to work independently
  • Other duties as needed.

Delivery Driver, Part-Time, Kentfield

  • Hiring Date: June 21, 2021
  • Pay: $14.00/hr ( + $2.00 per Delivery Trip.)
  • Shift: Dates Flexible-1-5 days (Between Monday-Friday), 2:30p-6p Shift

  • Professional spotting – including recognizing the type of stain and either pre spotting or post spotting garments
  • Process Dry cleaning and Wet-Cleaning garments
  • Sorting garments for proper cleaning methods and finishing. Running dry cleaning and laundry loads

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in a facility with the latest equipment
  • Know the basics of pressing and be able to adapt to the challenges of properly finishing new and seasonal fashion styles and fabrics
  • Accurately but efficiently iron and press clean articles by hand or by machine steam and vacuum
  • Learn the basic operations of pressing station(s) they will operate and the particulars of the items commonly pressed at that station
  • Follow all standards, procedures, and practices
  • Inspect garments and apply finishes as needed (stain guard, wrinkle release, etc.)
  • Ensure that pressing equipment is working properly and well maintained
  • Organize the garments by days (washing, dry cleaning, ironing) and then process the clothes in the correct equipment with the correct temperature.
  • Operate and Maintain Washer Dryer, Ironer and Iron. Correctly Report any problems or deficiencies to the manager.
  • Be familiar with emergency, fire, and safety procedures.
  • Responsible for logging in / out of the payroll sheet
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with coworkers and managers
  • Provide solid communication with the team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge in the handling of industrial ironing machinery. (HI-Steam)
